La frana recintata
The fenced landslide 

     Questa è la spiaggia che frequento abitualmente, la foto più sopra l'ho scattata circa una settimana fa, il 2 novembre scorso.
A primavera, per le intense piogge, c'era stata una grossa frana. La zona fu recintata ed è rimasta così tutta l'estate, ma le violente mareggiate dei giorni scorsi, il vento e le piogge, anche se scarse, hanno notevolmente cambiato l'aspetto della spiaggia. Il mare ha portato via la recinzione e tutti i detriti della frana sparpagliandoli sulla sabbia, il vento forte e la salsedine hanno bruciato tutta la vegetazione intorno ed il mare, gonfio, ha quasi cancellato la spiaggia.
Nelle foto sotto, scattate ieri, è evidente la differenza.

     I took the first picture above on the second of November, about a week ago, that's the beach where I go usually.  Last may on one side of the beach there had been a large landslide then fenced. In less than a week, last, rough waters, wind and some rain have changed the situation. The landslide debris and the fence have been scattered on the beach that is now just a small strip because of the swollen waters.

Un saluto all'estate - Bye bye summer

     Ultimi giorni di mare. Un ottobre mite ha permesso splendidi bagni in acque tiepide, solo da qualche giorno la temperatura è improvvisamente scesa. Saluto con queste immagini la bella stagione.

     Last days at the beach. A very mild October has allowed nice swims in warm waters, just few days ago the temperature dropped. This is my farewell to the nice season.
