 Un nuovo look per un vecchio paio di sandali.

A new look for an old pair of sandals.

 Ho staccato la vecchia decorazione adesiva.

I took away the old decarations.

 Ho tagliato e cucito il pizzo.

I cut and sewed tha lace.

 Ho bagnato il pizzo in acqua e Vinavil per irrigidirlo e l'ho lasciato asciugare al sole.

I soaked the lace in water and glue and let it dry up.

     Ho cucito il pizzo ai duei estremi ed applicato una striscia di biadesivo al centro ed ecco i miei nuovi sandali!

     I sewed the lace at the extremities on the sandals and I used some double sided tape at the center and here they are, my new sandals!

Piove - Rainy days

     Fine aprile con la pioggia ed io mi sono attrezzata con questi stivali di gomma comprati al mercato, super affari di fine stagione li ho pagati solo € 5 il paio, uno nero ed uno blu.
Peccato che, oggi, la pioggia stia penalizzando un evento importante come la doppia canonizzazione di Papa Giovanni Paolo II e Papa giovanni XXIII, a Roma. Penalizza anche un evento che sta avendo luogo nella mia città, lo Yacht Med Festival 2014 di cui vi mostrerò alcune foto nei prossimi giorni.

     Rainy end of April and just few days ago I bought two pairs of rubber boots, very good bargains, just € 5 each pair. 
Too bad it's raining just today that an important event is taking place in Rome, the double canonization of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII. Too rainy also for another event that is taking place in my town, the Yacht Med Festival 2014 of which I will post some photos in  the next few days.

    Adoro le scarpe che vanno questa primavera, décolleté a punta stretta e dal tacco alto, coloratissime e con tacchi vertiginosi, peccato siano così scomode!
Io ho acquistato queste, nella foto, che hanno un tacco meno alto, ma non sono comunque particolarmente confortevoli. Ne avevo già comprato un paio nero una settimana fa, prezzo € 10 il paio.
Dicono che sia pelle, ma io ne dubito fortemente!

     I love the trendy shoes of this season, colorful high-heeled pointed-toe décolleté, too bad they are so uncomfortable!
The ones I bought have a much more comfotable heel and still I think I'll wear them very little. They are just the same of the black pair I bought a week ago, price € 10 a pair.
They say it's leather but I don't really believe it!
